We’re finally at the end of a confusing year for most of us. Even though 2020 hasn’t been great for everyone, we’ve done our best to keep business going and to provide our customers with a positive Vanshades experience. To end the year in the best possible way, we wanted to take this opportunity to look back on our achievements over 2020 and look towards a brighter 2021.
New products
Window Pods 2.0
We worked hard to bring our customers the original Window Pods range last year, and over this time, they became increasingly popular with campervan owners across the country. This year, we welcomed the launch of our upgraded Window Pods 2.0, boasting a range of new and improved features! We launched Window Pods panels for those wanting that extra OEM look of a full Window Pod panel with no breaks.
Window Pods 2.0 is a step up from our previous range, with many new improvements to ensure your product perfectly suits your camper. With more personalisation options and a quick checkout process, there’s even more reason to treat your camper to a makeover.
We also launched the duo option which includes thermal/blackout blinds with the added benefit of a fly screen to keep out those creepy crawlies, as well as a range of frames where you can choose from a range of colour options.
There’s now a range of 15 colours of acrylic splashback to match your Window Pods as well as the ever popular brushed steel option.

Camper Glass
After the incredibly successful launch of our WindowPods 2.0 range, we didn’t want to stop the momentum. We added Camper Glass products to our catalogue to give you even more ways to get the finished camper you’ve always dreamed of. Camper Glass shares the same values as us when it comes to campers; fresh new ideas, quality products – it’s the perfect pairing!
Camper Glass windows are available in both individual panes or window pairs in both slider and fixed formats on the website. Take a look at our shop and browse for yourself! All windows are tinted stained privacy windows for peace of mind.
Brand new website
We announced our brand new website this year, which included a range of new features to help make your Vanshades journey even smoother. Some of the new features we incorporated into the new website was a new product finder, an online van customiser to see how your van will look after fitting Vanshades products, and a blind customiser so you can try out all our different blind and blind carpet colour combinations.
Instagram milestone
We recently hit 3,000 followers on Instagram! If you don’t already follow us, you can do so here. We regularly share camper projects and just how Vanshades products are transforming the look of campers across the country. Make sure you tag us in your posts for the chance to get featured!
