Product Description

The LOC8 Table System is a simple and effective way to have the best of both worlds: a standalone camping table that’s securely stored inside your sliding door when not in use.

Designed and assembled in Britain, the LOC8 Table system is fitted in minutes and requires absolutely no modification to your sliding door.

There is no cutting away of strengthening beams and no alteration of your existing lock mechanisms; you simply remove the existing VW trim and replace it with the LOC8 Trim, reusing the existing trim clips.

The Loc8 Table system fits into the nearside sliding door of all Right Hand Drive VW T5 and T6 models manufactured from 2004 onwards. The system is suitable for use in both SWB and LWB models with or without a power operated door.

Loc8 Table System includes the following in the box:

1x LOC8 Door Trim Panel
Manufactured in grey leather-grain effect ABS Plastic, designed to complement the original interior plastics used in the VW T5 and T6 ranges
1x LOC8 Folding Camping Table
Top quality folding camping table manufactured from 10mm laminated birch ply finished with hard wearing 2mm plastic edging with uniquely designed fold-out legs manufactured in lightweight aluminium and finished in black colour and with adjustable feet
1x Fitting Instructions
Step-by-step fitting instructions with clear photographs and a link to an installation video.

Great product but most off all great service. I drove 5 hrs from Scotland to have mine fitted and I must say I was greeted by office staff who welcomed me with a coffee I arrived early not knowing what traffic would be like and Rick talked everything over with me I had 5 blinds done & 2 store pods done finished in black carpet with my choice wine blinds I would highly recommend van shades for a great service & most of all great product at a good fair price especially in this current market.

I could not recommend Jack, and his whole team at Vanshades, enough! The product is brilliant and completely transformed the aesthetic of my van. Window pods from Van shades are a must have for any camper. They are neat, they look good, they do a perfect job and are so easy to fit. I had a small problem with one of my blinds. I rang Van shades and they couldn't have been any more helpful. The staff were so fantastic to deal with. I was told straight off not to worry. They will sort it out. And they did, in super quick time. They were amazing!!!! The faulty blind was picked up and a new one delivered in less than a week. Thank you Van Shades for an amazing product and for being so good to deal with.

Well where do I start, from a quick email to Eve with a query, to a few days later having a drive down, meeting Richard, Zak & Jake, who looked at van, and decided blinds could be fitted, and as I'd travelled quite a distance, set too and fitted them for me, and then I proceeded to order the pods for the other windows, from Louise, what a transformation they make, from crappy black curtains, to stylish and easy to use blinds, i would definitely recommend Vanshades to anyone with a camper. Then we met Jack, before we left who was helpful in explaining things to me, and sorted me out with a little cosmetic issue i had with my van. It was a pleasure to go there and meet everyone, so extremely friendly and very very helpful from my very first email, thank you 🙌

They are very effective and dont intrude on the inside of that van, and when they are closed they stay closed unlike curtains which can get caught and opened accidentally. Highly Recommended.

On the plus side the window pods look good when carpeted and seem to work well so far, on the minus side, my pods took 6 weeks to arrive ( not sure if this because I made a slight change to my order ) the carpeting video online only shows how to carpet the simple pod, It would be better if the video covered the pods with cut outs such as the sliding door as this is more tricky to carpet, also the location for screws to retain the barn door pods is not clear ( it is quite important to get these in the correct position ) and finally I didn't receive screws to fit my barn door pods when they are shown as included, not sure whySo if you purchase these pods remember to allow plenty of time for your order to arrive!

Very impressive product! Well designed and produced. Fitted a set of these into my Ford transit custom today - barn doors and then a duo blind behind the driver and a duo blind behind the passenger on the sliding door. Easy enough to fit if you take your time. I’ve seen videos saying 90 seconds per blind but in reality you take longer. They look great, are ergonomic and really block out the light well. Took 5 weeks to arrive but the website does advise of lead times when ordering. Well worth the wait.
